Carretera Austral Part 3: Caleta Gonzalo to Lago Yecho

Interesting driving.

I stopped to take this picture because it looked like Indiana Jones or something.

There aren’t many pictures from this part of the trip, because the driving was a little tough. The roads weren’t too bad, but there were lots of those big trucks you might have seen from the ferry pictures.

We stayed at Hotel Yelcho en la Patagonia. I didn’t take any pictures of it, but the ones above are from their yard. I think I was just tired. They had an excellent gift shop full of Patagonia-branded items I’d never seen. The serious fishing gear.
